The name weezy is derived from my name, Louise, thusly I have coined myself as the REAL Weezy. I am a twenty-year-old college student attending Western Michigan University in the Secondary Education program with my focus in English and History. I have lived in Michigan for most of my life, but soon hope to expand my horizons and move on from the wicked winters and sweltering summers. I have played all sorts of percussion instruments for the last ten years, particpated in jazz ensambles as their drummer, and played in both my high school drumline and with The University of Michigan’s exceptional drumline in several exhibitions. I have played drumset in my own band throughout High School and currently play with a jam band from time to time for fun. I have played both an acoustin Pearl set, as well as a Remo electric set which is what I am currently playing due to my living and sound restriction situation. I still take lessons and am always learning and expanding my own techniques. I hope you will find the ideas, music, techniques, and rudiments helpful in your own drumming growth.
